In our first meeting, we presented a difficult situation: We needed to move out of our current home and were on a short timeline, we had a modest budget and a very long list of needs including needing a property with a guest house for soon-to-be-retired grandparents. They never flinched. He listened, asked key questions, and shared his philosophy for serving clients which resonated with us. We felt confident they are the agent for us and within 24 hrs of our first sit-down, he began to communicate with us about potential homes! The team shined in a number of ways. First, Dave is a good teacher. He affirmed the things we understood about real estate but also carefully corrected the misunderstandings we had that were confusing us and the process. Though we were first-timers, he respected our intelligence and trusted us to learn what was necessary to make our deal happen. He never pushed us towards a purchase that was beyond (or problematically-beneath) our budget just to make a deal. During each of the key moments of our process, Tim was available personally to talk, explain and/or reason decisions out with us. We never felt like we had to wonder what was going on, interpret silence, or translate the tone of ambiguous emails. When possible, Tim called. When impossible, we texted. Often. We were fully informed. We learned a lot about real estate through our relationship with them. We were in Escrow twice – and those experiences were instructive.
